When the world seems dark, and our community is being asked to not exist, it’s a major relief when we can gather with other community providers. We need to continue to talk about our transgender, queer, cis, straight, bisexual, and non-binary community, not to mention our allies, and how we will all come together in this fight.

Samaria, Grace, and myself (Casey Weitzman, MA, LMFT) had the great pleasure of meeting Paulo, Mell, and Jack of No Matter What Recovery. Over a shared lunch, we took the time to learn about each other’s work, passion, and values. There was an instant connection; the meeting could have lasted all day. Everyone was so open and honest, and it was refreshing to feel so in sync.
