Though Gender Wellness of Los Angeles does not have a central office location (yet), we do offer both in-person and Telehealth therapy for residents of California & beyond.
Whether you prefer face-to-face, or the convenience of virtual sessions through Telehealth, our therapists are here to meet you wherever are on your journey. By utilizing both in-person and virtual counseling options, we ensure that our services are accessible to your unique needs. We can’t wait to embark on a transformative journey together, whether in our welcoming offices or from the comfort of your own space.
In-person meetings are available in California only—with our therapists based in Sherman Oaks and West Los Angeles. Please don’t hesitate to ask us about COVID-19 safety protocols. New clients may discuss accommodations (i.e. wheelchair or mobility aid access) before the initial session.
Virtual counseling appointments are available in the states of California, Florida, Idaho, and South Carolina (varies by provider). You will meet with your provider via SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant platform that allows us to conduct secure video appointments. We gather all consent forms and other intake paperwork for new clients through this portal for your security. Virtual therapy sessions are initiated with a link that is sent to clients prior to the appointment time.

Group Counseling is popular offering, and can be a great, cost-effective alternative to weekly therapy sessions. Our groups cover a variety of topics. Presently, we are proud to provide two in-person community processing groups for Trans & Non-Binary adults. All groups currently take place in Sherman Oaks, CA.
