Dr. Richard Horowitz is a doctor of internal medicine with many years of experience in the hormonal treatment of FTM and MTF transgendered people. He trained in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where he served as chief resident. Afterward, he completed fellowships in reproductive immunology and nephrology and has served on the executive committees of several major hospitals in Los Angeles. Currently he is a clinical faculty member at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He maintains an active private practice and is a member of The World Professional Association of Transgender Health as well as the American College of Physicians.
