Olivia Harrington is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern currently supervised by Casey Weitzman, MFT.
Olivia completed her traineeship working with eating disorders at the residential level, and has continued to practice in the identification, diagnosis, and understanding of eating disorders of all types and severities. She’s passionate about working with the intersection of eating disorders and gender identity, as well as the two occurring separately. Growing up and living in a society where gender is seen as dichotomous can be a challenge, especially for those who do not fit into the prescribed boxes. It’s difficult to find someone who takes all aspects of a person into account. Olivia’s aim is to make therapy a safe, non-judgmental space where one can explore, challenge themselves, heal, and grow. She practices from a collaborative and holistic approach, often using cognitive behavioral skills to better support my client’s discovery and recovery.
Olivia works with adolescents and young adults, as well as their parents and families.
